We reported last week that Elizabeth Banks was to make her feature directorial debut for Pitch Perfect 2. Well, more good news today for fans of the hugely popular blockbuster, as Universal Pictures and Gold Circle confirm that Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson have signed deals to redeem their staring roles for the sequel, as it hits our screens on May 15th 2015.
The surprise hit of 2012, a film that saw Kendrick's cover of 'Cups' sell an absolute rake of copies over in the US, is now eagerly anticipated in light of these latest announcements.
In the meantime, however, you can catch Kendrick singing her heart out in Disney's 'Into The Woods' opposite the likes of Johnny Depp, Meryl Streep and Chris Pine, fair play to her.
