The son of Brendan Gleeson’s new project definitely looks a lot gentler and less evil than his turn as General Hux in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Gleeson (Domhnall, that is) is set to play children’s author A. A. Milne, the man behind the beloved Winnie the Pooh books, in a new biopic. It was A.A. Milne who invented the magical world of Hundred Acre Wood and created the timeless characters of Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and the rest of the gang.

The Fox Searchlight movie is currently untitled (its working title is The Untitled A.A. Milne Project ). It just started filming in England two weeks ago, and also stars Suicide Squad and Wolf of Wall Street star Margot Robbie (who plays wife Daphne Milne) and newcomer Will Tilston as Christopher Robin. Kelly MacDonald (recognisable to Irish audiences for her role in Intermission) plays nanny Olive.

Here’s Gleeson and on-screen wife Robbie:

The movie is set post-WWI and will centre on the relationship between Milne and his son, whose stuffed toys inspired Milne’s books.

Directed by Simon Curtis (My Week With Marilyn) and written by Frank Cottrell Boyce (Millions) and Simon Vaughan, a release date for the flick has not yet been announced.
