You may have seen Rings in the cinemas lately (we were not fans…) or ads for it.

It’s gotten many remembering the first of the American remakes, 2002 hit The Ring, which was one of the big horror movies that came out in the teen years.

Given that was 15 years ago, it makes one wonder, whatever did happen to that creepy, long-haired girl who would climb out of television sets to kill people and destroy their faces?

Well, it was a young actress named Daveigh Clase who played Samara, and she is now 26 years old, and looks gorgeous.

Chase also voiced Lilo in the Disney animated feature, Lilo & Stitch. She reprised the role in the animated series based on the film and voiced Lilo for the made-for-TV movie Leroy & Stitch.

Aside from that, Chase also voiced the lead character of Chihiro in the American dub of the beloved Japanese animated feature Spiritied Away. Hard to think that such a villainous little girl like Samara also voiced two such heroic young girl characters, huh?

Chase's other major film and TV credits between 2000 and 2005 were Donnie Darko, when she played Donnie's younger sister Samantha, Oliver Beene, The Rats, Carolina, and Beethoven's 5th. She also made guest appearances in Touched by an Angel, Charmed, ER, Family Law, and The Practice, and had a supporting role in Big Love. Since the 2010s, she has been doing mostly indie productions like Yellow, Little Red Wagon and Jack Goes Home.

Aside from that, she’s just having the bants as a twenty-something year old
