Although production's only just started in the past week or so, it looks like Tom Hardy is already getting into character as Al Capone.

The actor shared the first set photo from Fonzo, the upcoming biopic on the notorious Chicago crime boss directed by Josh Trank. Hardy will play Capone in his waning years, imprisoned on Alcatraz Island for a decade and beginning to suffer dementia and is increasingly haunted by his violent past.

The cast expanded last week to include Linda Cardellini as Mae Capone, his wife, Kyle MacLachlan as Dr. Karlock, Capone's personal physician, whilst Matt Dillon will play Johnny Scalise, Capone's closest lieutenant and friend.
