Prepare to hear a lot more about Chaos Walking as its top-notch cast and crew are sure to get movie goers excited.
Filming has officially started on the sci fi movie which is based on the young adult novel series by Patrick Ness (who is also well-known for the book A Monster Calls, which was adapted for the big screen in a movie released earlier this year).
Doug Liman (Edge of Tomorrow, The Bourne Identity) is directing a script by Gary Spinelli, along with Charlie Kaufman, John Lee Hancock, Lindsey Beer and the novel’s author Ness. Spinelli and Liman also worked on recent Tom Cruise starrer American Made.
The film portrays a dystopian world with no women where all living creatures can hear each other’s thoughts in a stream of images, words, and sounds called Noise. One day, Tom (Holland) discovers a girl named Viola (Ridley), who may be the key to unlocking the world’s many secrets.
It could have the success of The Hunger Games or the downfall of the Divergent series – only time will tell…
