Sean Penn has pulled out of two impending projects, citing family reasons. The recent Oscar winner will take up to a year off to concentrate on his family - something I'm sure many divorcees' wish they had the financial stability to do. Penn was due to star in the action film Cartel next, and then line-up opposite Jim Carrey and Benico Del Toro in The Three Stooges movie. Cartel is going ahead with a different lead, but Variety are saying The Farrelly Brothers might wait for Penn on 'Stooges' as he was their first choice. Expect Russell Crowe to be linked with both roles regardless.
