The legendary Bill Paxton will replace Denis Quaid in Steven Soderbergh's Irish-shot action flick, Knockout.

According to The Playlist by way of Empireonline, Quaid had to pull out because of a scheduling conflict with another movie where a boy gets eaten by a shark, directed by Hercules himself, Kevin Sorbo. Seriously, I didn’t make that bit up.

Paxton will now play MMA star Gina Carano's father, whilst Michael Douglas, Ewan McGregor, Channing Tatum, Antonio Banderas and our very own Michael Fassbender will all make appearances. The film starts shooting here next week. Rumours of an action sequence taking place on the roofs of O Connell street are rampant - so watch the skies... and stuff.
