Robert Pattinson has reportedly replaced Colin Farrell in David Cronenberg's latest film, Cosmopolis.

According to Hitfix.com by way of Deadline.com Paul Giamatti and Marion Cotillard have also joined the film in which the Twilight heartthrob will play a financial whizz, who is being followed by someone uber-suspicious (Giamatti). The flick apparently has a single-night, almost real time set-up, and is based the book of the same name by Don DeLillo.

Pattinson next has Water For Elephants with Resse Witherspoon out, but this is his first film with an established, top drawer director. Farrell will be off shooting the blockbuster Total Recall remake.
