Anne Hathaway is landing herself in the news, post Oscars, for all kinds of random reasons. First of all she's pissed off about all of the Oscar acceptance speech criticism. Well sorry Anne, but your speeches do irk us somewhat. "It came through *sniff *sniff". You just don't accept your gongs with the same coolness as the likes of Jennifer Lawrence. And bless her, she had practised her speech and everything in a bid to be 'more likeable'. A source close to the 30-year-old star told USMagazine.com: 'She was very aware that she had been the butt of everyone's jokes,' explaining that the actress practised her acceptance speech a lot to try to be more likeable. In conversation with US Weekly, the Les Mis Oscar winner said of the criticism surrounding her OTT emotional acceptance speeches: "It does get to me... But you have to remember in life that there's a positive to every negative and a negative to every positive." The positive in this case being that you're an Oscar winning millionaire who could bathe in diamonds if you fancied it while we, on the other hand, have the pleasure of moaning about you to keep us warm at night. Fair to say you get the better end of the stick, no?
