You would think that the fact the 'Star Wars' is about people (and aliens) flying around and fighting each other in space would allow for some things to just be accepted and while fans have had a tough time getting around one of the plot points in 'The Last Jedi', others have discovered that it was foreshadowed plenty, if you were paying attention.

*Spoilers below*

While 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' may have split fans for a variety of reasons, one of the biggest problems fans have is with the fact that the First Order has ability to track the Resistance’s ships through hyperspace, a point upon which the whole film hangs.

And it's the fact that this ability seemed to appear out of the blue in the film that got fans most worked up.

But, it turns out, if you were paying attention during 'Rogue One', the technology was there all along, or at least being worked on.

Yup, that's Jyn Erso digging through the Empire's database while looking for the Death Star plans mentioning the exact thing that the Empire were working on 30+ years prior to the events of 'The Last Jedi', so clearly someone perfected the technology.

As for all the other problems? We'll let you keep fighting over those.
