Ooh! Our favourite teenage mutant ninja turtles have just been appointed their actor counterparts. Revealed by Deadline, Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 actor Noel Fisher will take on the role of Michelangelo. Yeah, we don't remember which mute, glum looking vampire he was either. You might know the young lad playing Leoardo though; Shameless's Pete Ploszek (the American version, that is). Meanwhile, it's been reported that an actor who we'll soon see in the sequel to the first The Hunger Games will be stepping into Raphael's shoes. Alan Ritchson. We're not overly familiar with him either, but a quick Google image suggests he's got that typical handsome Hollywood heartthrob thing nailed so he'll probably stick around and who knows, he could be the next big thing. Bit Kellan Lutz-esque perhaps. Then there's Jeremy Howard who will play Donatello. You may or may not know him from Jim Carrey's The Grinch (one of the teenagers who crash the Grinch's pad at the movie's outset.)

So all in all, director Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans) has cast a bunch of randomers here; but we think that might be a good thing. Do you? The one star we certainly are familiar with is Megan Fox. Though we'd rather see a more suitable unknown play April than someone who's nothing more than a draw for male adolescent bums on seats.
