Nicolas Cage. Love him or loathe him, whether he's an alcoholic in Leaving Las Vegas or he's got a skull for a head that bursts into flames in Ghost Rider, dude's got screen presence.
Next up for Mr. Cage is another action thriller, I Am Wrath, for which - Deadline report - he will take the lead. Rumours in the cinema circles suggest Nicolas will take on the role of Stanley, a man who takes matters into his own hands upon learning of the corruption within the police following his wife's murder. Heartwarming, eh? William Friedkin who you'll know as the director of classics like The Exorcist, The French Connection and the more recent Killer Joe, is in talks to direct. Apparently, he will helm with a script from Paul Sloan, based on an idea by Yvan Gauthier.
With production slated to begin in February 2013, we don't imagine we'll be seeing this until the following year.
