Yesterday I had the pleasure of travelling to London to catch up with the director (Zack Snyder) and cast (among which the criminally handsome Henry Cavill was included) of Man of Steel. My favourite of the 2013 summer blockbuster collection thus far, I was more than slightly enthused. And not just because I'd get to shake hands with, touch the back of and stare into the eyes of Superman himself - no really, it's offensive how attractive and foppishly charming he is - but because it's a very satisfying movie too.

Among the tidbits of information received and lols had, I learned that having taken on an iconic role and nailed it, Mr Cavill would be well up for giving another rather well known role a bash; James Bond. So if you're listening, Barbara Brocoli, this British actor wants in.

What's more, Amy Adams considers herself Irish after having spent a number of months filming on these Emerald Isles for Leap Year. She's head over heels in love with the place and with her shock of natural red locks we'd gladly adopt her. She also used to sing the Lois Lane Superman song, word for word, so to say she was a big fan, would be an understatement.

Lastly - and don't worry, you'll get the scoop straight from the horses' mouths once our interviews are live on the site in the afternoon - Zack Snyder says he too would LOVE to film in Ireland. I asked him, should he remain at the helm as the franchise continues on, would he film a portion in Ireland, to which he said YES! Though whether he's just sweetening me up 'cause I'm from Ireland, we'll have to wait and see.
Stay tuned peeps!
