The things we do for love. Well, the things Liam Neeson's character Ottway in 2012's The Grey does for love. Namely challenging, with broken liquor bottles strapped to his knuckles, a big massive scary wolf to a death match. Co-written and directed by Joe Carnahan, who you'll know as the man behind Smokin' Aces and The A-Team, The Grey, which will be released next year, is about a team of oil drillers who crash their plane in the Alaskan wilderness who are then left with no choice but to fight for their survival, against not only the relentlessly craptastic weather but also a pack of pissed off, hungry wolves. It also stars Dermot Mulroney so apart from the edge-of-your-seat action, there's a nice selection of eye candy too!

After kicking butt in Batman Begins,The A-Team, Unknown and one of my personal favourites, Taken, it's high time Hollywood went beyond the human form to find a new adversary for this bad ass movie star, 'cause by the looks of it - he's well able. Check out the trailer for The Grey here. The film will hit theatres on January 27th
