Liam Neeson thriller, Unknown, surprisingly topped the holiday box-office this passing weekend in America with a four day total of $25.5 million - off of a modest $30 million budget.

Teen action flick, I Am Number Four bowed in third spot with a decent $22 million, while the bucket of shite that is Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son opened back in fifth with $17 million. Seriously, who the hell pays to see that!? Surprisingly, Gnomeo and Juliet 3D held very strong - it has now grossed over $50 million after opening only last weekend.

This weekend see's Julianne Moore/Jonathon Rhys Myers thriller, Shelter finally get a release Stateside; while comedy Hall Pass and Nic Cage action frenzy Drive Angry 3D also open.
