If the idea of a movie with Natalie Portman, Jon Hamm, Dan Stevens, and Zazie Beetz all on-screen together sounds like a dream, well 'Lucy in the Sky' must be.

Directed by Noah Hawley, who helmed the incredible 'Legion' and 'Fargo' TV series', 'Lucy in the Sky' seems to be in good hands. The director, screenwriter, and author, is known to play with the viewer's mind in his back catalogue - so whether everything we see in the trailer actually happens, remains to be seen. Hawley is also up for directing Marvel's 'Doctor Doom' movie, which could be all kinds of cool too.

Beatles fans will notice the reference made in the movie's title, referring to the 1967 song 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds' from the album 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'.

The synopsis of the space adventure is as follows:

The film tells the story of female astronaut Lucy Cola (Portman) who, upon returning to Earth from a life-changing mission in space, begins to slowly unravel and lose touch with reality. Her psychological decline culminates in a fevered cross-country trip with violent intentions in this complex, thrilling and darkly comedic character study.

As well as Portman and Hamm, the movie also stars Dan Stevens ('Beauty and the Beast'), Zazie Beetz ('Deadpool 2'), and Nick Offerman ('Parks and Recreation').

No fixed release date for 'Lucy in the Sky' has been set yet, but the movie is expected to be in theatres later this year.
