Naomi Harris is in final negotiations to take on the role of one of the Bond series' most iconic characters, Miss Moneypenny, reports The Daily Mail.

According to the hilariously named Baz Bamigboye, Harris will not play a Bond girl but rather the much loved character who was the subject of mucho flirting with Bond throughout the previous 22 films. The same article is also saying that both Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes are both locked for roles, although that hasn't be confirmed by reps for either actor.

With Sam Mendes directing, it's easy to see why such a high calibre cast has come on board. This may be Daniel Craig's last film as Bond (he's only contracted for three), so he'll want to go out with a bang.
