Night at the Museum 2 won the battle of the blockbusters this passing weekend at the American box-office, as it beat heavily hyped sequel, Terminator Salvation into second spot. The Ben Stiller starring 'Museum' coined an impressive $53.5 million to take the top spot for the three day period over Terminators $43 million. But it's a holiday weekend in The States, and Terminator opened on Thursday, so, in the short-term at least, the action film should out-gross the broad comedy. Salvation's total since opening last week stands at $56 million, but it could pull in around $70 million for the five day period - pretty much the same as Terminator 3. The latest "comedy" from The Wayans Brothers Dance Flick, coined $11 million, to open back in fifth spot.
