This bank holiday weekend sees the release of what's being touted as one of the greatest horrors we've had in an age, and certainly one of the most entertaining movies of the year, The Conjuring.

Too chicken to actually sit through the movie myself (I'll get there, I just need to make sure I won't be spending any time alone for at least, well, a YEAR afterwards), myself and the film crew headed along to The Scream Cinema (otherwise known as The Screen) on D'Olier Street for the Irish Premiere of The Conjuring to catch up with the freaky-ass doll Anabelle and suss out the fear factor among cinemagoers after the movie.

By all accounts it's pretty damn terrifying, with almost all of those interviewed agreeing that it'd be a while before they'd sleep again.

With a rating of 4.5/5 stars all round, this is certainly a horror to remember.

The Conjuring hits Irish cinemas on Friday, don't miss it!
