Another 'Minions' movie that you can drop you kids off to while having an existential crisis in the lobby, is on the way.

The latest from Illumination Animation is titled 'Minions: The Rise of Gru'. It'll be the fifth feature appearance of those delightful yet extremely annoying over-zealous yellow guys after the three 'Despicable Me' movies and first 'Minions' film, which made over $1 billion at the box office.

The latter ended with the creatures meetings bad guy-turned-loving-father Gru (voiced by Steve Carell) for the first time. He's still a kid in this one so expect more cutesie stuff, and Carell is back to voice the character.

Other returning cast members include Pierre Coffin, who voices Kevin, Stuart, Bob and the other subordinates, and Russell Brand. New additions to the cast are Kevin Hart, Margot Robbie and Dave Bautista. Hart also stars in Illumination's 'The Secret Life of Pets' series.

The first full trailer for the animated feature arrives on Wednesday.

'Minions: The Rise of Gru' hits Irish cinemas 10 July 2020.
