One of my favourite directors, Michael Mann, has been weighing up his next project after last year's Public Enemies.

In one particularly mouth watering possibility, he could go back to old school epic with a film based on the Battle of Agincourt, between England and France during the 15th Century, made famous by Shakespeare in Henry V. The actual film would centre on a young warrior involved with the scuffle. The last time Mann went down a similar route he made Last of the Mohicans. Sounds pricey.

He's also circling a biopic of photographer Robert Capa, and a Chicago mob movie. But for the immediate future will be working on HBO series, Luck, with Dustin Hoffman and David Milch
