Michael Mann is in talks to develop and direct a film based on the Le Mans race series titled, Go Like Hell.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Heat and Public Enemies director has been hired by Fox to bring A.J. Baime's book to the big screen. The story will centre on a "young Henry Ford II, who, determined to infuse new life into his family’s company, decided to get into the European racing scene." They took on Ferrari in the 24 Hour race, who had previously been the mainstay racing team, and won.

Mann has a couple of other projects on the go at the moment, with Andrew Garfield attached to his Robert Capa biopic that is still in development.
