Mel Gibson sat down with Comingsoon.net to chat about his career and gave a typically frank interview. They also quizzed him on what he thought of Tom Hardy in Mad Max 4, George Miller's follow up to the Tina Turner co-starring Thunderdome.

"I sat down with the guy and I quite like him. I think he's a good choice for that." He added,"It'll be fun. I think he's a good actor. He commits completely and he looks great. There's this scary thing about him which is kind of right for that. Tom needed to sit down and talk more than I did. I'm really happy about that. But I hope they do a great job. I'm a big fan of George's.

Gibson's last film was the very enjoyable What I Did For My Summer Vacation, which didn’t get a theatrical release in the US. He's currently working on his Viking flick, Berserker.
