Julius Caesar is coming to the big screen but don't worry, Kenneth Branagh is not involved. Mark Wahlberg and his creative partner Stephen Levitan have signed up to produce what is going to be an origin story along the lines of Batman Begins.
Deadline report that it will cover Caesar's early years as a young slave to Chilean pirates and his rise through the political ranks.
It's very early days and Wahlberg and Levitan are scouting for a director and cast. They do have a script to work with though; it was written by Cinema Cool's Travis Baker and Richard Tanne.
