French actress Marion Cotillard is today being heavily linked with a role in The Dark Knight Rises.
The actress, who has previously worked with Christopher Nolan on Inception, is heavily pregnant and due her baby in May - the month the third Nolan Batman movie goes into production. But French newspaper, Le Figaro (via Batman News), spewed, "The actress, who is expecting a child in the spring with Guillaume Canet, will be scarce this year. She’ll do a single film and her choice fell on Batman 3." It's worth pointing out that nothing has been confirmed yet, and there is no obvious role - sizeable anyway - that Cotillard could take.
Take it with a pinch of salt, so. But given the link with Cotillard and Nolan it could still very well happen.
