It's been something of a mixed bag for horror movies this year. In our opinion though, the best so far have been 'Doctor Sleep', in cinemas from today, and Jordan Peele's 'Us'.
Starring Lupita Nyong'o, Winston Duke and Elisabeth Moss, 'Us' follows a family on vacation to the summer home of the matriarch. It takes a terrifying turn when a gang of doppelgängers crash their holiday.
Nyong'o was getting early Oscar buzz for her dual role as Adelaide Wilson and lookalike Red. Could this promo video from Universal be a sly campaign to put her name in the running again? Maybe. But you have to admit, with it being Halloween, the timing couldn't be better. And she did give a terrific performance.
In the video from Universal's Halloween Horror Nights, Nyong'o visits the recreated 'Us' maze and so-called tethered world. Then she dresses up in character as Red to terrify some surprising unsuspecting guests.
