We reported a while back that Chris Pratt was being tipped to play a younger version of Indiana Jones in an upcoming production.

Our sources were pretty good, but we've got some confirmation - at least, as close as we think we can get to a confirmation.

James Gunn, director of Guardians of the Galaxy and winner of an Erics Award for Ireland's Favourite Film, took part in a live Q&A via Periscope.

The topic of whether or not Pratt will be the new Indiana Jones came up and, as Gunn put himself, it "seemed like complete bullshit."

Considering Gunn's in regular contact with Pratt for the production of Guardians of the Galaxy 2, we're reasonably certain he's got this straight from the horse's mouth.

So, we've got to ask - who would make a good replacement for Harrison Ford? And better yet, do we need a replacement?

It's not like he's James Bond or Batman - the character doesn't necessarily benefit from reinvention or rejuvenation. Shouldn't they leave it alone?

We definitely think so.
