So Star Wars obsessives, how do you feel about this? Is the Toy Story 3 scribe the right choice for the seventh installment in your much loved franchise?

As per Vulture, Michael Arndt, whose got a big shiny Oscar to his name - thanks to Little Miss Sunshine - was apparently enlisted to work on the Star Wars Episode 7 long before we heard the news that LucasFilm was handing over the reigns to Disney. What we know how is that Arndt's got a 40 - 50 page treatment outline of what's in store for the forthcoming movie. Though what still seems unclear is whether he'll stay on to write the full screenplay.

We reckon he will though, given the fact that Deadline say he's also written drafts for two Star Wars flicks beyond this one. We're quite happy about the idea too; Little Miss Sunshine was a gem, so too was Toy Story 3 and I personally LOVED his treatment of Suzanne Collins' much loved The Hunger Games.

G'wan, Mick, you can do it!
