The casting rumours continue as Colin Farrell is apparently out and Jude Law in, as Sherlock Holmes sidekick, Watson, in the Guy Ritchie directed Sherlock Holmes film that is to star Robert Downey Jr. as the iconic clue sniffer.  Farrell was thought to be in negotiations, but that all obviously went tits up, and now Law, who has never headlined a hit movie, is reportedly in advanced negotiations to co-star. I would've loved to see Farrell act opposite Downey, but some things obviously are not meant to be. Law will next be seen as one of the replacements for the late Heath Ledger in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, as will Farrell. The Castleknock man has gotten extremely positive reviews at Toronto for his latest turn opposite Ed Norton in cop corruption drama Pride and Glory.
