Keira Knightley is to lend her pouty mush, and general posh twang, to the science fiction film Never Let Me Go, which is an adaptation of the best-selling novel by Kazuo Ishiguro. The film will be directed by the brilliant Mark Romanek, who is responsible for stunning music videos for the likes of Johnny Cash (Hurt), Jay-Z (99 Problems) and Audioslave (Cochise); as well as the creepy Robin Williams starring thriller One Hour Photo. He was attached to Wolf Man until the last minute, but handed over the reins to Joe Johnston after a creative dispute. The film is described as a "bleak futuristic romantic thriller" and will centre on three buddies who discover that they are being specifically bred as organ donors. The novel won the prestigious Booker Prize in 2005.
