Kevin Costner is to reprise one of his best roles in a follow up to the brilliant 80's baseball film, Bull Durham. Costner played wily veteran Crash Davies in the first film, which co-starred Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon. In the sequel, Costner's character would be managing a Major League Baseball Team that Sarandon and Robbins co-own. It sounds like a nice setup for a sequel, and the original is a genuine sporting classic that had somewhat of an open-ending, as Crash broke the Minor League home run record without any fanfare. Costner has never done a sequel, and frankly, I'd rather see something like this that The Bodyguard 2.
