According to Variety, Kelsey Grammer, Megan Mullally (Will and Grace) and Bebe Neuwirth (Cheers) have joined the remake of Fame that is set to begin shooting Wednesday. The three will play instructors and teachers in the school, where students will do anything to y'know, become famous. I can't actually remember the original, but I do remember the soundtrack and it was crap. Still, it's nice to see Frasier and his missus back together. The film is being directed by Kevin Tancharoen, who has helmed episodes of The Next Pussycat Doll, which is a reality TV series. Hopes are not high for this one.
