Although most people were focused on the fact that Jamie Dornan does the Ryanair airhorn thing during sex scenes, another nugget of information was revealed during the show on Friday night's Graham Norton.

On the couch with Dornan was Keanu Reeves promoting John Wick: Chapter 2 (which is INCREDIBLE, by the way). Sure enough, the question of Bill & Ted's long-awaited threequel came up in discussion and, according to Keanu, there's a whole script and story ready to go.

As he tells it, Bill Preston and Ted Logan are now middle-aged, their marriages are falling apart and that song which would unite the world has never been written. However, something from their past lands in the present and tells that not only the world - but the universe - is now at stake.

We talked to Keanu back in 2015 about the possibility of a third Bill & Ted, and he seemed hopeful then - so obviously the work has progressed further still. Alex Winter, who played Bill Preston, said that he was hopeful production would begin at some stage in 2017.

In the meantime, here's Keanu Reeves' story pitch from Friday night's Graham Norton.
