Keanu Reeves is to attempt to stretch his acting ability once more in an adaptation of The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, that will be abbreviated down to simply Hyde - They'll confuse the masses otherwise ya see. Nicolas Winding Refn, who last tackled the imposing presence of Charles Bronson in, eh, Bronson, has been set to direct what the trades are calling a "modernisation" of the material. Which basically means that Keanu doesn't want to go back down that Victorian route, as it turned out a bit shite last time. Refn is an extremely interesting choice for helmer, though, and if left alone he should craft something at least worth watching.
