Katherine Heigl has figured out a sure-fire way to get out of her Grays Anatomy contract - slaughtering the writers. The actress has previously won an Emmy for her role on the popular series, but has publically pulled out of the race this year as she felt the scripts she was given weren’t up to standard. In a statement her publicist issued Heigl said "I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization decided have against competing," Then adding "In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials,". Ouccccch, expect her character to begin a relationship with a guesting Nick Nolte as punishment.
