Josh Brolin and Kate Winselt will star in the Jason Reitman (the brilliant Up in the Air and Juno) directed flick, Labor Day.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will centre on the happenings of Labor Day weekend (a big holiday in The States) when Brolin's escaped convict holds up in Winslet's gaff and teaches her sheltered son some life lessons.

Sounds like typical Reitman dramedy, which is fine by me as the man is showing staggering consistency. Shooting is due to kick off early next year.
