Justin Timberlake has decided to concentrate mostly on acting nowadays, and has now signed on to both star in and produce the biopic, Spinning Gold, according to a press release.

The film will be set in 1974 and concentrate on the life of music legend Neil Bogart, who is the man behind such superstars of the time as KISS, Donna Summer and The Village People. The plan is for an album release to happen in conjunction with the film, with some of today's biggest stars reimagining the classic hits of time - I'm assuming Timberlake would be on there.

I'm still not completely sold on him as a leading man. He was fine in Friends with Benefits and The Social Network, but for some reason I'm always innately aware that he's acting. There's no director attached yet, but the film is happening.
