Yes, a whole new Harry Potter. But not as you know it.

J.K. Rowling took to Twitter this morning to do two things: celebrate the 18th anniversary of the publishing of the first Harry Potter book 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' and drop the motherload of Harry Potter bombs and announce a brand new Harry Potter adventure. Except this time there's a very new twist, as Harry's adventures won't be down on paper but take place on stage.

Here's what Rowling had to say.

So far that's all we know, but seeing as it's a Harry Potter adventure and Harry Potter himself AKA Daniel Radcliffe is no stranger to the stage, is it too much for us to hope that he'll put the glasses and the scar back on (and sell all the tickets to this in the world)?

There's been no word from Radcliffe, Emma Watson or Rupert Grint, but if anyone can put the band back together, we've a feeling it's J.K. Rowling. Otherwise we've got a brand new hunt for a Harry Potter on our hands, which is probably the most intimidating casting call since Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars.
