Given the significant Oscar buzz surrounding Luca Guadagnino's adaptation of Call Me By Your Name, it's no surprise that some of the most well-known names in the industry are lining up to work with him.

Variety reports that Jennifer Lawrence has signed on to star in his next film, Burial Rites, which is another adaptation - except instead of the lush Italian countryside, this film is set in Iceland and focuses on the last public execution in that country. As well as this, Gudagnino also has the long-awaited Suspiria remake and a thriller set in Rio with Jake Gyllenhaal and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Lawrence, meanwhile, has the spy thriller Red Sparrow in March 2018 and X-Men: Dark Phoenix still to come. No release date has been set for Burial Rites, but expect there to be plenty of buzz around this when it gets nearer to the screen.
