James Corden is actually quite a good actor don’t ya know... he recently won a Tony. Now, he's clocked up two major movie roles back-to-back.

First off, Corden will join Mark Ruffalo, Keira Knightley, Hailee Steinfeld and Adam Levine in Irishman John Carney's flick, Can A Song Save Your Life. Corden will play Knightley's best pal in the film, while she plays a woman who's dumped by her boyfriend after he hits the big time in New York. I'm assuming Levine is playing the tosser ex... I don't know why he seems sans ego, right?. Carney has directed the lovely Once, and the very underrated comedy, Zonad. Corden will also play Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts in the biopic from Devil Wear's Prada helmer, David Frankel.

Fair play to the British thespian, who has mixed it up continually during his career as a presenter and actor on TV, stage and film.
