There's a rather eclectic season of film in store at the Irish Film Institute next month. If you head along you might even get a chance to do your bit for a good cause, and celebrate the memory of IFI programmer Pete Walsh.

'It's All Culture' kicks off on March 4th with a fundraising screening of classic western, The Searchers. "All of the proceeds from this event will go to Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services in Harold’s Cross where Pete was so wonderfully cared for. We hope people will come along in large numbers to support this important event,” IFI Director Ross Keane said.

The Searchers is followed up by a collection of Pete's favourite films including The Honeymoon Killers, Make Way For Tomorrow and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. Well, we did say the mix was eclectic! As Pete himself would say, "it's all culture!"
