With production set to kick off pretty soon, It: Chapter 2 is now locking down its cast for the adult version of the Losers Club.
Variety is now reporting that Power alum Andy Bean is set to play Stanley Uris in the sequel to the box office smash, with James McAvoy, Bill Hader and Jessica Chastain all locked down to play Bill, Richie and Beverly. As well as this, Bill Skarsgard will return as Pennywise whilst Andy Muscietti is set to return as director. In a since deleted tweet, James Ransone - best known for his role in HBO's Generation Kill - announced he was to play Eddie.
Like the TV miniseries with Tim Curry, the second half of the story is set in the present day and sees the now-grown members of the Losers once again being terrorised by Pennywise. The first film was nothing short of a critical and commercial smash, so undoubtedly expectations are high for second.
It: Chapter 2 hits Irish cinemas on September 6th, 2019.
