As we reported earlier this morning, the first full trailer for Kong: Skull Island has a lot to like about it.

For one, it's got Creedence Clearwater Revival, it's definitely got shades of Apocalypse Now, it's got Brie Larson and Tom Hiddleston, and more pointedly, it's got John C. Reilly and everybody loves John C. Reilly. He's easily one of the most underrated comedic actors working today and one of his characters, Dr. Steve Brule, has become a cult hit.

The character originated on Adult Swim's Tim And Eric Awesome Show Great Job! and eventually became a spin-off show called Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule. It's... weird. Here's a taste.

We're getting somewhere with this.

So, in the Kong: Skull Island trailer, a few people clocked that John C. Reilly's character was wearing a jacket that said "Good for your health", which is undoubtedly a reference to Steve Brule. After all, he played Steve Brule and now he's in Kong: Skull Island.
