It's looking like Brandon Routh is still tentatively attached to a sequel to Superman Returns, as DC Comics President Paul Levitz recently spoke with web folk Latino Review about the status of the project. Firstly, he said that nothing will be decided until Chris Nolan decides if he's going to direct another Batman movie or not; as that is what Warner Bros. are shaping their current slate of movies around - when that's announced news on a sequel will follow. Levitz also added "Last week Brandon Routh has come around the offices in New York and Los Angeles as of late to talk about Superman and what we want to do." Ultimately Warners are putting up the dough, so it's their decision; but again, I'd really like to see Routh given a proper bash at this as a franchise.
