Can you imagine Colin Farrell as an Orc? Or as a dwarf? Now don't get too excited, he hasn't joined The Hobbit but he has been commenting on the much anticipated adaptation of online-role playing game World of Warcraft.

In an interview with IGN, the Irish actor revealed that he doesn't know the movie's status but, "I read the script, if that’s any use to you, and it’s amazing."

I know, I know, how exactly could a script about the nerdiest thing on the internet be amazing? Well, the proposed film adaptation has majorly upped its street cred by catching the attention of Duncan 'David Bowie's son' Jones who is set to direct. Which, in fairness, is deadly news.

Colin said "Duncan was cool. I sat with Duncan for a while and read the script, loved the script, and we was as cool as can be. I don’t know what’s happening with the film. I don’t know where they are in the process."

“I can’t imagine what he, being as visually gifted as he is, Duncan, and what he did on Moon with, like, a dime, I can’t imagine what he’d do with this Warcraft.”

We can't either. Whenever WoW gets mentioned all we can think of is that season 10 episode of South Park when the boys battle a fat slob who has dedicated every minute of his life to the game becoming a 'griefer' in the process.

But - with the possibility of both Jones and Farrell on board we think it could be the biggest and best movie ever made. Seriously.
