Marvel have released a teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Iron Man 3 starring Robert Downey Jr. The 17 second trailer shows sneak peeks of the full trailer which is set to be released later this week. This will be Downey's fourth outing as the superhero following the successful Iron Man 1 and 2 and 2012 The Avengers.
The film will follow Stark do battle with an enemy called The Mandarin played by Ben Kingsley. The official synopsis was revealed by last week said 'Marvel Studios' Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle.' With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?'
Shooting on the film began in North Carolina in June although had to be postponed for six week after Downey Jr injured his ankle on set. Filming resumed at the start of October and the film is still set for release in May 2013.
