Irish Director John Moore has become attached to a remake of the 1970’s thriller Capricorn One. The original starred James Brolin and OJ Simpson as astronauts who became embroiled in a massive conspiracy involving a Mars space mission. Moore is currently shooting the game adaptation Max Payne with Mark Wahlberg, and this would be his third remake after the much derided Omen revamp and the poorly received Flight of the Phoenix. The man shoots a pretty looking film, and also knows how to handle an action sequence; so depending on script and casting this could be quite a cool film.
