After a weekend of previews, Daddy's Home 2 was officially released last Friday and debuts at number one on the Irish box office chart. It brought in just over €425,000 this weekend, giving it a total of €788,455.

Paddington 2 drops to second place but continues to do well making almost €400,000 during it's third weekend of release. Justice League came in third earning just over €200,000 but remains on course to cross the €1m mark. Murder on The Orient Express and Thor: Ragnarok continue to bring in customers despite having been in cinemas three and five weeks respectively.

Frozen was re-released in cinemas with new short film, Olaf's Frozen Adventures. Unsurprisingly, it was a success taking in €117,349 and landing in fourth place on the chart.

The week's other new releases had mixed fortunes. Polish film Listy Do M3 (Letters to M3) did well, making €62,978 from 33 locations. Battle of the Sexes took in just over €60,000 but George Clooney directed Suburbicon struggled earning just €17,511.
