The world wide web has been going wild with rumours that The Inbetweeners have all signed on to star in a sequel to The Inbetweeners Movie, and will be heading to Australia to film it. Well, the madness didn't go unnoticed by the show's creators, and a statement posted on the show's Official Facebook page says that while the movie will happen, there are no confirmed plans as of yet.
"Facebook 'Fwends' - we told you you'd be the first to hear about Inbetweeners stuff, and although that's still true The Sun went rifling and found some stuff out about a sequel. Nothing's signed yet, and Australia is just one of the ideas we're kicking around, but we hope to have a new and definitely final film for you some time next year", the post read.
The Sun had originally claimed that the film would see all four boys back in action, backpacking through Australia, and the news left Inbetweeners fans feeling very happy indeed. Guess you can't believe everything you read, eh?
