The Irish Film Board are screening some of their shorts this Friday in The Lighthouse Cinema from 6pm as part of the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival.

Amongst the screenings is the recent IFTA winner, The Boy in the Bubble, which is narrated by none other than Alan Rickman. It is currently being developed into a feature length project in 3D, which is an extremely exciting prospect for the director, Kealan O Rourke and producer by Brian Willis. Also screening is the excellent short, Origin, an extremely slick animated effort from the increasingly prolific folks at Souljacker.

Tickets are still available from JDIFF.com, and these films are well worth seeing.
